A visual identity was required to stand out amongst the competition and to be easily identifiable by customers and tourists. It must reflects the positive, can do attitude of the brand, steering clear of dull natural colours, which are all too common in environmentally conscious businesses. During the research I looked at the iconic recycling arrows, shapes that reflect the name, such as a square, and the ancient ouroboros symbol, which expresses the unity of all things and relates to Bøx’s values.
